Decode Base64 to PDF online and view it in the browser before downloading. Accepts raw Base64 and data URIs, checks that the data really is a PDF. Nothing is uploaded.

Paste the Base64 you received from an API or a database and see the PDF right here. The tool checks the PDF signature, shows the size and page preview, and downloads the file with a .pdf name you choose.

## How to use it

1. Paste the Base64 text (starting with JVBERi0) or a data:application/pdf data URI.
2. View the PDF in the preview.
3. Name the file and click Download.

Everything runs in the browser: the data is never uploaded to Base64 Studio.

## Questions

### The preview stays empty - why?

Some browsers do not show PDFs inside pages (for example on some phones). Download the file and open it; the data is still correct if the type shows PDF.

### My Base64 does not start with JVBERi0. Is it a PDF?

Probably not, or it was compressed or encrypted first. The tool shows the detected type; if it says ZIP or GZIP, decompress it after downloading.

### Is the PDF stored anywhere?

No. It exists only in your browser's memory until you close the page.

### Is my data uploaded to a server?

No. Every conversion on this page runs inside your browser with JavaScript. Your text and files never leave your computer, which is why it also works for private keys, contracts and photos.

### Is the tool free?

Yes, free without sign-up and without limits other than your computer's memory. The site is paid for by the small ads on the left and at the bottom.
